Jerry's doctor SPOILERS

I shuddered when Jerry's patient, a cancer doctor, remarked that his (the cancer doctor) life was boring and oncology was boring.

Fortunately my oncologist never said that to me. I would have gotten another doctor if he had.

BTW I was told several weeks ago by this wonderful man that I am now cancer-free.
Hope you don't mind me sharing.

Congratulations to you, foxredfox!!!! What wonderful news -- hurrah!

I lost my sweet, younger sister (only 52) to Cancer 3 years ago on April 18, 2012 . . . She struggled valiantly with a very complex Cancer over a three-and-a-half year period. She always stayed positive and hopeful. She researched and tried every
avenue available. Though she had always lived a very healthy, active lifestyle it ultimately couldn't change the direction of the road she was forced to take. We were very close and I was given the gift of being with her in her final hours.

This film is really so dear and the story line is wonderful. The cast did a beautiful job bringing drama, pathos, light and great humor at times to very interesting and realistic story. I truly hope many more people discover this truly special film over time. Hats off to the everyone involved in bringing it to the screen!!!

goffpartners, please forgive me for not responding to you sooner. This is my first visit to the board since I wrote my other post.

My sincere condolences to you for the loss of your sister. I have just one brother, and if I lost him or his amazingly wonderful wife,(She's a sister to me....not just a sister-in-law,) I would be devastated.

Fifty two is way too young to pass away.
