any word of a DVD release? - The Civilization of Maxwell Bright (2007) Discussion

Since it's being produced by the same company that did 'Hellbent', we may very well never see it on DvD. I have been waiting on an offical release of 'Hellbent' since I first heard about it (4-5 years ago).

Hearing this movie is bad, but since Warburton is the main character and does full frontal, I will own it if it ever hits the shelf....

That's a mightly large "IF"...

There are already some caps of the frontal on some forums. It's a full on fully nude frontal. Don't know what's going on in the plot at that point or even why he did it, but he obviously wasn't shy.

The movie is out on DVD in Australia. Widescreen version. No extras. Bought it at Atlantic DVD.

Yeah, rather weird it should only be available on DVD in Australia.

I've just rented it from my local DVD store (Ezy DVD), here in Sydney. It's not even a "Premium Release", which indicates it's been available here for some time.

Sometimes, it's hard to fathom the logic behind how some movies get released.

Look for an American DVD release sometime in the fall of 2007. I don't know if it's guaranteed yet, but definitely in the works. The Australian DVD is in the PAL format and can be purchased on Amazon. (then get a friend at a dupe/edit house to make you a copy in NTSC format :) -heh heh JUST KIDDING! Never make illegal copies, kids!)

Since there is male full frontal nudity in the first few minutes, even though Patrick is running, I'd say at least the DVD Netflix has available now is the uncut version.

Rented from a local store (I'm in the USA) and watched last night with boyfriend. Didn't know there was going to be a full frontal scene plus a lot of profanity. His Catholic housemates were home. Whoops.
