Movies you must see if you loved Roger Dodger...

First off, if you loved this movie, it shows that you have a good taste in great writing, and witty dialogue.

With that in mind, I'd like to recommend 2 other indy films which also fit in that category:

-Melvin Goes to Dinner
&
-In search of a midnight kiss

thanks for recommending these.

I'll look into seeing those.

i would also recommend In search of a midnight kiss. but Melvin Goes to Dinner does not have remarkable dialogues as roger dodger, plus i hated the lead actor.

Californication, haha...

If you liked Roger Dodger I'd also suggest Swingers.

Nice one, Burk.

If people think Roger was a bad guy, they will really love Chad.

"The elderly, they seem friendly enough, but can you really trust them ?"

The Last Run

"what if Forrest Gump was full of *beep*"

Mars Callahan's What Love Is is great. It's less a movie than a play that someone decided to film, so bear that in mind when it comes to the acting as it's very theatrical. But a great cast including Cuba Gooding Jr. Sean Astin, Mathew Lillard, and a bevvy of beautiful women including Gina Gershon, Tamala Jones and Anne Heche.

Girl, it ain't my fault you lack the flavor.

It's much lighter than "Roger", but a great lil Indie flick..."Hangin' With the Homeboys"...with John Leguizamo, Nester Serrano...and a few others. Guys in search of women on a very misguided night...

Scent of a woman original Italian version.
It really looks dated but if you enjoyed rodger doger you might as well enjoy this.

I would recommend watching 'Sideways' to everyone! Check it out.

The Daytrippers
Walking and Talking
Lovely & Amazing
Living in Oblivion

I found the movie "Shame" to be very compelling. Very different storylines but both movies gave me the same vibe.
