Ok I actually prefer the character of Sam as he was a gentleman and as a girl I would have chosen him as much as the character has been down played by the script in favor of Maddy who is street boy!

So I personally got enjoyed film but did not like this aspect of it ( not gonna spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet)

I think they only reason why the character appeals to so many people is the acting of Madhavan rather than the character I hated him personally!

I found Maddy really funny and he played it really well lol

If you think about it, Sam would've chosen not to stay in Mumbai and Rina doesn't wish to leave Mumbai so it sort of played well towards the end (In that aspect).

But honestly, pretty sure it wouldn't have worked out because Im sure in reality she would've seen sam's pic....Don't know how the writers managed to swerve it around hahaha
yet still The movie Rocks, Love it!!
