I couldn't finish this movie...

It's not that it was bad writing...actually I'd say it was really good. But it was just too intense and disturbing for me. And I've seen all kinds of movies. I've seen all George Romero's Dead series, Kids, I've even sat through a famous gritty Brazilian flick called Pixote, which up till now was the most disturbing thing I've ever seen. But this even topped that movie. Could anyone else not finish this. I could only watch about a minute after he cut the swastika into his chest.

What were you expecting from this movie? I thought it was a fairly good low budget production, although I can definitely see where people may have a problem (the last half hour or so of the movie). It's strange, but an acquaintance recommended this movie to me. I don't think he had seen it when he did this because when I told him I thought it was alright, he said it was disturbing and not worth finishing (because of the last parts of the movie). As for myself, I've seen way too many movies to dwell on how disturbing something is. If I want disturbing, I'd watch the news or go to the public housing projects or to the free clinics on skid row; movies are something else.
