and what about the two girls? for me, neither got nominated in the supporting category at the oscars because they were both so good that they must've split the votes of the supporters of the movie, since it did have a lot of them in order to get the three noms it did (lead actress, supp actor and screenplay)...

I was happy to see the Bolger sisters received many other awards for their work in this film. Too bad about the Oscars.
