Why did the girls wear swimsuits in the shower?

Maybe cause they're with their dad and didn't feel comfortable being nude infront of him?

Maybe because the producers/directors did not want to deal with the furor showing pre-teen girls naked on screen would bring, and also the "didn't want to be naked in front of their dad" reasoning works as well (especially for the older one).
