stupid, impossible-even for science fiction; CGI looked to be from a 1990s video game.
Why would you allow smoking in a closed system with limited oxygen?
pressure would literally STOP the ships progress DEAD after about 500 miles. let alone melt it

Since when did films have to make complete sense? They are made to entertain. You can pull apart every film and end up with reasons why it shouldn't have been made! But what's the point? Watch what you like, don't watch anything you dislike, again.
