Similarity to Jackie Brown

Spoiler alerts for both movies, etc..

I'm comparing the relationship between Zoe and Daly to that of Jackie Brown and Max Cherry.
-In Cherish, Zoe is under house arrest. In Jackie Brown, Jackie is out on bond.
-In Cherish, Daly is an officer of the court servicing Zoe's ankle bracelet. In Jackie Brown, Max Cherry is a bail bondsman for Jackie.
-In Cherish, Daly appears to be infatuated with Zoe. In Jackie Brown, Max appears to fall in love with Jackie at first sight.
-In the course of events, Zoe and Jackie both begin to return the feelings for Daly and Max. But when met with physical affection, Daly and Max decline to escalate the affect and escalate the relationships to an official level.
-In Cherish, Daly helps Zoe circumvent her ankle monitor restrictions to track down the stalker bent on killing her and simultaneously beat the manslaughter charges. In Jackie Brown, Max helps save Jackie from the man who's intent on killing her while simultaneously beating the drug charges.
-In the end, Zoe and Jackie go traveling after their ordeals. Zoe goes alone, but remains friends with Daly, who clearly continues to love her. Jackie voyages off alone, and it's left somewhat ambiguous as to whether Max changes his mind about joining her.
