sometimes when he washes his hands in the little sink, he says "courtesy of the sopranos". is there anything behind that?

Early on in the Sopranos, Tony's mom used to have Emeril Live on her tv in the old folks home. She was always complaining the he 'Never washes his hands'...so there you have it.
