ja tycker att denna filmen är en bland dom bästa svenska filmer som finns. normalt så gillar ja inte svenska filmer, men den här var riktigt bra. bra skådespelare oxå!

Basically it's just your normal IMDB thread:
A: I think this movie is great! I normally don't watch Swedish movies 'cause they suck, but this here is the best Swedish movie I've ever seen.

Could you name some good Swedish movies, please?
I am now teaching myself Swedish, which includes watching subtitled movies. Finding them, surprisingly, turned out to be a problem. Swedes on IMDB are of little help; what they basically do is they're spewing filth at their national cinema, going on about how every Swedish movie is skit. After watching KOPPS I don't find it so hard to believe, but still hope for the best.
So far I've been mostly watching kids films after Astrid Lindgren's books, which are great, but finite in number. Also, they fail to convey any knowledge of swear words.
I know there's Moodysson (frusratingly undownloadable) and Bergman (frustratingly classic). But what else, fan?
I'm mostly aiming at movies of indie kind; think Garden State or Ghost World.
Any other tips are welcome, though.

shareI know it's been a while since you posted that question, but i just have to recoment you one of the best films i've seen; Låt Den Rätte Komma In, or Let the Right One In as it's named in english. It shouldnt be a problem to find it on sites like amazon, and if youre looking for good swedish film that's one you just cant miss. =)
shareMm det e den BÄSTA svenska filmen som har gjorts *beep* it. Väldigt välgjord, underhållande och genomtänkt. Remaken var inte alls lika bra och jag blev VÄLDIGT förvånad över att de gjorde en. Blev besviken men samtidigt e det positivt att en amerikansk film, baserad på en svensk film (som även nämns), görs till en någorlunda bra hollywoodfilm =)
