I watched the remake of the movie the other night and enjoyed it, and after reading many comments about the superiority of this movie in comparison to the remake, I'm very interested in seeing it. However, I am unable to find a copy of this movie with English subtitles. Does anybody know where I can find a copy with English subs? Any help would be appreciated.
This site claims it also has the film: http://www.subdvd.com/ Just search on "Osynlige". You have to create an account with them to order the film I think.
This site also seem to have it, it is only in Swedish though. --> http://web.nordmarx.com/ It says it is in Swedish and "3 other languages", it doesn't say if it's in english.
What? Why? Den Osynlige is my favourite Swedish film and definetly in my top 5 favourite films of all time.
With that being said though - If that still is the case... I'm not going to stop. All I have is the remake and although it's good it is a poor substitute for Den Osynlige.
You can always try visiting secondhand movie stores and go manually thrue every movie they have on DVD. In Scandinavia there is a slight chance of finding it on DVD in the secondhand stores.
I have been mistaken for a Finn before. Just to clear things up I am not Finnish I am Aussie, who speaks only a little Finnish. So it can seem a little extreme to go from here to Scandanavia to look for a 95 minute movie. No matter how good it is.
With that being said is there any reliable international online stores? Because Amazon and ebay don't have anything other than the remake. I posted something similar on the directors' Oscar-Nominated Short Victor.
I found that a while ago, I was so happy... UNTIL I saw the subtitles because the only language I know well enough to translate a 90 minute movie is English
But then you can download english SRT subs for it on the internet.
YEAH, Look. I don't know how to do that.

The way i do it, is by using TMPGEnc Authoring Works 5, pay software for about $100 Here you can import video from sources such as DVD, Blu-ray or video files and SRT subtitle files and create DVD's and Blu-ray's with matching subtitles.
