I just saw this on DVD and had to fast forward through most of it. The screenplay, acting and directing all sucked. The only good thing about this movie is watching Kate Beckinsale act like a slut.

I couldn't disagree more. First of all, how can you possibly make an accurate judgement if you "had to fast forward through most of it"??? The movie has so many subtleties, and very natural, well written dialogue. The ending wasn't necessarily groundbreaking, but the journey was well worth my time.

Awful. If asked, most people can't pinpoint the worst movie they've ever seen, but I can, this one.

This movie was anything but subtle. Anyone with a brain could predict the story 15 minutes into the film.

Perhaps you don't possess the maturity to understand the subleties of this film, or are able to appreciate the performances. I can't see how you can offer such a strong opinion if you fast-forwarded through it.

I thought the movie was very cool. It had a very dynamic range of charachters and the plot was quite interesting. Ian was hilarious.

If you think Kate Beckinsale's character can be simplisticly passed off as "acting like a slut", then the whole movie obviously just went way over your head... !
