shareHow so? I mean, most of the stuff I see is not Christian-oriented in any way. All those sex-and-gore filled movies and violent videgames and trash-talking rappers...hey, I'm grateful for the guys at BigIdea giving us a breath of clean air!
There is one terrifying word in the world of nuclear physics: Oops.
agreed...pay me money or you go to hell
shareWow. None of this is even close to true. What "money" do you mean??? All you have to do is believe in Jesus, and you go to heaven. How much does that cost? Is there a toll booth that makes you pay on your way to heaven? And if you're short, you go to hell? I have NEVER known a Christian that's only in it for the money, and if they are, they're not a Christian.
shareSo that would mean Satan gets in too then huh?
I get what you mean but you completely forget all it means to be a Christian. Believing isn't enough. You've gotta show you believe too y'know.
4 for you Glen Coco! You go Glen Coco!

I mean not believing isn't what keeps you out of Heaven,. Just believign isn't enough. I know THAT much.

Some people have twisted it... that's what happens when things are big. Look at "Green"... so many companies are trying to make money off of improving the environment (or at least pretending to). Just because a good cause is screwed up by certain individuals or companies, doesn't mean a whole religion (or cause0 is screwed up.
And from what I recall when has having a religion ever been "just having a religion" ? Since recorded history (to my knowledge...) there has always been conflicts with religious roots. Meaning it was never just about each person being in their own bubble and believing whatever they want to believe, history is full of conflict and arguments over religion. So why should now be any different?
How VeggieTales is a twisting of Christianity I do not see either. It's not like they run into church screaming "BUY OUR VIDEOS" and desecrating holy sites (now a church doing that on their own is their own deal). If people can make a living off of creating and selling things that enforce positive ideas, why is that a bad thing? When they start ABUSING that role, I could see your argument more clearly.
Veggie Tales are entertainment. People pay to see all kinds of movies and they get to choose what they see. Buying a Veggie Tales movie is the same as any other kind of movie. It just so happens that some people CHOOSE to purchase entertainment that is in line with their beliefs.
