Act Natrual,

Do you remember the scene where Hongshen was lying on the grass looking up at the sky and reciting what seemed like a poem? I would love to find out where that came from...Is he reciting a poem exactly or lyrics to a certain song?

And if you can, could you please post the poem he recited in that scene? Please!?

All I can remember him saying is "Take it natrually" after every sentence...
Anyway the poem really struck a chord with me and I wish I could remember everything he said but I can't, so if u can provide me with the exact poem I would greatly apreciate it.

It's "let it be" by the beatles. It's mistranslated. Here is what it really is:

When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.
And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be. Yeah
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Whisper words of wisdrom, let it be.
And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

Are you yanking my chain or are you serious? I know a lot of movie/anime translations miss the mark a lot of the time, but the content of those lyrics seems Totally different from what I remember hearing in the movie.

rewatch it, you will see it is. the words are mistranslated, but the meaning is similar. he talks about how he loves that song and lennon.

Yeah, it's Let it Be. I think it would be inaccurate to say they translated the Chinese poorly into English for this film. Rather, whatever translation he was using from the original English into Chinese was somewhat lacking (though it would be difficult to translate something like "let it be". I wonder what they do with Hamlet's "Let be"). So, the subtitles are fine in this respect. I actually liked that it ended up being this way and they didn't look to use the original lyrics. Made the movie more interesting to me

This was just on TV in Canada (CBC) and I thought it was a very good movie!

The lyrics to the song are heard twice, the first time in that 'watching the kite' scene by the bridge (20 minutes in to the film), and then again in the scene in which he's just moved into the apartment with Shun Xing (37 minutes in to the film). Identical lyrics are used in both scenes.

I have to admit, that while the 'take it naturally' lyrics sounded *very* familiar, I couldn't place them until the 2nd time I heard it.

Anyway, here's the words from the film - compare them to the actual 'Let it Be' lyrics posted by 'ladym00s'

When I find myself in times of trouble.
She stands next to me.
Telling me which way to go...
Take it naturally.
And in the darkness...
She stands in front of me.
Telling me which way to go...
Take it naturally.
There will be an answer
for all those in pain...
Take it naturally.
After the struggle
they will all see the answer...
Take it naturally.
When the night is cloudy...
I saw a light, showing me a new day...
Take it naturally.
