So Lena and Ruth were never reunited inspite of the daughter's going to Berlin?

at least not in the movie. but you can imagine they did!

You cannot make that assumption ... there is nothing to support it. But here is the real point ... why wasn't Lena at the wedding? I think that would be a better way to end the film.

yes Chrisso... I was looking for her during the wedding myself.

I cried as it was.. I would not have stopped with Lena there.
