An Inspiration for filmmakers everywhere

Considering how cheaply made this was and the minimal resources, Manito accomplishes so much and just breaks your heart. The film really makes use of the term "Use your budget as your aesthetic." Manito looks like a documentary: the acting is so authentic, the story so absorbing. I thank you Eric Eason, for letting me, a young filmmaker, know that a great story like this can be done for ULTRA cheap. And congratulations on the film launching your career.

I agree! It wasn't perfect, obviously, but after it got going it was INTENSE. I wanted it to go on another 45 minutes!
