For other parents who aren't sure about the rating

If you're not sure whether to let you kids watch because of the PG-13 rating for sensuality, here is what I saw. 1- Brief nudity (non-sexual) of Kaena in a dream like state (my 9-year-old felt uncomfortable enough to look away for a moment). 2- Bad guy says to Kaena 'he wouldn't mind fusing with her pretty little body'. 3- And Kaena herself is very voluptous and wears little clothing. None of it was too bad, and I didn't mind letting my children watch it because it was still an entertaining movie. It's hard to find movies my family can watch together. I hope this helped.

Plot-wise it was definately a kid's movie, but I wondered about her costumes. It didn't bother -me-, but I imagine some parents would have problems with it.

In regards to number 2, I was a little surprised they put it in. Again, it didn't bother me--I think it added to the plot a little, made it different--but it wasn't expected at all.

I don't think it's a terrible movie for kids to watch. It wouldn't bother most kids.

It wouldn´t bother any sane, healthy, kids, no matter the age. Stop shielding your precious babies from everything that might give them character...

If you'd let your kids watch Tarzan run around in his loin cloth, there's no reason not to let them watch Kaena run around in her more modest outfits.

And of course she has a smoking hot bod: she's a fantasy hero. Again, see Tarzan, Conan, and any other heroic men whose names end with "-an" who tend to run around dressed in little more than their muscles.

I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure you're not Hitler.
