the poster ?

there are 2 women with masks on if I'm not wrong, one of them holding a baby, looked pretty impressive I must say, and some guy had commented on the dvd that this Karim Hussain guy is in the same league as Lynch and Cronenberg, being big fan of Cronenberg, and Lynch, this was a must watch, but after watching this I cant belive what I just saw, its horrible, and that poster pic, where were the masks?, I don't know, just avoid this film don't let the poster fool you and that comment about Hussain being as good as Lynch, thats probably Hussain himself who wrote it.

I can understand your dissapointment. I just saw the film, and it was nothing like described. I think it is more suitable to compare this flick with the surrealism of Jodorowsky mixed with the estethics of Tarkovsky. It kind of reminded me of Stalker.

Stalker - absolutely and just as good!

I perfectly understand your comparison, but I don't think it captures the mood of a Jodorowsky movie either, nor the kind of surrealism, but I most definitely agree that it feels like a homage to Tarkowsky movies (visually), and again specially Stalker. ^^
