Wait, who died?

In the scene when the lead bully girl was talking with some guys about killing Hoshino after Kuno shaved her head, at the end of it after one guy joked about Kuno she said "How can you laugh after someone died?" Was she talking about Tsuda's death? Because Kuno clearly lived till the end of the movie.

Still that doesn't make sense considering they were talking about Kuno, about killing Hoshino after what he did to Kuno, not Tsuda.

I noticed that too. Maybe a simple translation error in the subtitles?

Yeah hope so, either that or the script needs a little fixing. I don't mind with the ambiguities in other plot points but this kinda bugged me a bit.

Also I heard that Kuno died in the book, so maybe "How can you laugh after someone died?" was some sort of a hint? As the movie didn't exactly process chronologically, the scene with the lead bully girl and the guys could very well happen after Kuno died (which wasn't stated in the movie of course)
