Hi I watched the second jury series first as i had never heard of this. I think they are both excellently made but found it so difficult to watch. I found my self actually having more sympathy for the seik boy rather than the accusers. It disgusted me the way the family behaved in the gallery and in the episodes..
I found it difficult to watch too, but it sounds like we had different reasons.
For me, it was because it was so contrived. It was like, "This juror has this personality issue, and here's a scene why ...", and then, "We need a bit of drama, so we'll have someone's flat or car vandalised, with no explanation or even reference for anyone actually doing it".
I know that's the way a lot of dramas are assembled, but this seemed very paint-by-numbers.
You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
Well, did the painted numbers say Davinder was truly innocent or guilty? The jury foreman and most commenters on this board aren't entirely certain; enlighten us.
