Does anyone have any information on the English dub?

I remember seeing the English dub of this on TV many years ago (probably something like fifteen years ago by now!). Does anyone know if the dub is currently playing on TV anywhere in the English-speaking world?

Also, I know that this series has been released (or is being released) on DVD in France. But does anyone know if there is any DVD/video edition that has English subtitles? Or *even* the English dub (although you don't need to tell me how unlikely that is!)?

Any info would greatly be appreciated! Thanks!

Yeah, that would be a good idea. Besides "Clémentine", I'd also like to see someone (are you listening ADV/Pioneer/Geneon/Animeigo/Bandai/etc./etc.??!!) release "Esteban and the Mysterious Cities of Gold" and "Omer and the Starchild", not to mention quite a few others!

Honestly, there are so many fantastic foreign-produced cartoons from the '80s and early '90s that deserve to see a good, well-produced and *bilingual* (or at the very least with the original language track) release on DVD to the English-speaking world. I suppose a good part of it for me *is* nostalgia at seeing these treasured, long-lost series from my childhood once again, but I do think that they're also great shows in their own right, anyway.

I still remember seeing "Clémentine" on TV what must be at least fifteen years ago by now, and I can remember thinking how much I liked it even then. I can recall what must have been the first episode, with Clémentine and her father crashing in their plane out in the woods, and her guardian angel Héméra showing up and keeping the demon Malmoth away.

I can also recall at least two other episodes with some clarity - in one of them, Clémentine went to Victorian London and met who I think was meant to be Oliver Twist. In the other, she was underground and had to help some dwarves fight off some evil goblins who worshipped Malmoth; in the end, the trolls were canoeing down a river after the heroes, but some alligators/water dragons/something or other came out and tipped them into the drink.

Beyond that, though, it starts getting hazy. I would really love to see this series again (particularly the English dub, since that's what I first saw, although it would also be interesting to check out the original French one), and with all the old series and movies that are seeing a release on the DVD format, I really think "Clémentine" would be an excellent addition.

Oh yeah, I wish I could get my hands on the series. I remember watching what I thought back then was the final episode: the trip to Japan where she finally is able to walk again. However, according to Wikipedia, that was only the end of the first season.

Last time I got to watch the series on TV was in reruns, somewhere around 1993. It was a channel for cartoons and children series that got lots of interesting series w/o falling into the stereotypical Nickolodeon/Cartoon Network stuff. Then again, there wasn't *any* Cartoon Network available around here.

I miss these clever cartoons, ahh those times ...

It's nice to see that some people still remember that scary cartoon. I used to watch it in Arabic when I was a kid, And it's been a while since I started searching for it.

Thanks to "chris_gally" for mentioning eMule, I was able to find a webpage with links of all 39 episodes in french. here it is if anyone wants to download it.
