A question regarding Clémentine and Malmoth...

I really only remember a very little bit of this series, and I haven't seen this particular topic covered well elsewhere, so I'd really like to ask something: *WHY* is Malmoth so utterly obsessed with capturing Clémentine and having her for himself? Doubtless, this was explained in the show, but, like I said, I really don't remember too much, having last seen it more than a decade ago. From what I've read on the net, his pursuit of her does come across as pretty creepy, so if anyone can provide me with a little more insight on this, I'd really appreciate it.

That's a very good question. I am not sure about it myself either and actually I am trying to make a movie about Clementine. You can go check the website at www.shefilms.com

Maybe she acted like this huge ball of love in the first episode against the circus manager and made herself a target??? i need to answer this for the sake of the screenplay as well.

Yes very good point! Hemera really might be her mother. Actually Clementine is going insane as the series continue towards the final episode. all of it she creates in her mind in order to deal with the sickness and slowly she loses the feeling of reality as she starts to feel that there is no way for her to walk.

ElChompiras, that's a good point you make, and one I had never thought of - namely, that Héméra may actually be Clémentine's mother. It would certainly make a lot of sense, given how much she protects and looks after the poor girl!

But here's the thing, and I'd like to ask you, too, BlueAmbrosia - was that question ever exactly cleared up by the series' end? And Ambrosia, what do you mean by Clémentine "going insane"? I just want to make it clear again, I only ever saw a few episodes of this series (or at least I only *remember* a very few!), and I don't think I ever saw any of the second season, so was there ever any actual indication that Clémentine is actually losing her mind? Or is that just your personal take on the whole story?

And by the way, BlueAmbrosia, your plans for a "Clémentine" movie over at www.shefilms.com do look very impressive - if you need an assistant scriptwriter, drop me a line. (*Sigh*...I can dream, can't I...?;)).

It's my personal opinion. Please reach my from the website email, I am not able to check here very often. I am interested in what you would like to write if you were to write this screenplay.

Please contact me from my email address. No I haven't because I am producing other films at the same time and this movie is not in production or pre-production yet, meaning; it's early to anounce.
