I figure the car comes from that angle. If Izzy won't let him buy a shirt from Prada due to his tight budget, I'm pretty sure she wouldn't let him use a car service. But who knows for sure, it was a loose end, that's for sure.
^ I agree i figured Anthony came from money. The "Im at prada" scene gave it away. I dont think he was completely cut off though.
