Finally a good representation of a gay bar

I found this movie mostly average, but the one thing that was definitely standing out positively to me, was the gay bar they went to. It's kinda shocking how every single gay movie (even those which try to be really lecturing about the acceptance of gays) includes a gay bar with mostly extremely stereotypical clientele. There are always some leather daddies, some flaming queens, some transvestites etc. And yet, I've been to plenty gay bars and there are always mostly ordinary people wearing ordinary clothes and only a few "non-ordinary" ones (except, of course, if the theme of the bar is genre specific). Therefore, it was really surprising to me stumbling upon this random gay movie and seeing a completely regular gay bar. Finally.
