Motive for All the Killing
I can't seem to recall what the motive was for all the killings. I must have missed that part.
shareThe killer killed his parents and got away with it. It seems he just wanted to play games with them and pick them off for fun.
shareIt's been a while, but I am pretty sure Lucas confesses to Sara he killed his parents himself and was surprised by how easy it was to fool the cops...?
Anyway, he was a psychopath who deeply enjoyed proving his superiority by out smarting everyone around him; it makes sense he'd focus on profilers since they were a bigger challenge than the average Joe from his point of view.
He says something about how it's like an addiction and he keeps chasing a high. So that's the reason for all the elaborate traps. It's the only way he can really be satisfied with the deaths.
