To whoever saw this in 3D in the theatre?

Hi. I just want to know from whoever saw this in 3D, to tell me what is was like seeing it. Did you really feel like you were the camera going in? Please tell.

it looked really good, especially when the robotic arm came out of the screen at the beginning - everyone reached for it then as it closed, everyone moved back really quick! Saw it 3 or 4 times in 3D and now have the DVD. Good film.

It was the most immersive experience i've yet had in a theater of any kind. Seeing the wreck at that size in such a large high-resolution format was just incredible, especially someone who knew the ship from many years of study like I have (since '86) was awe-inspiring.

As for the 3D effect it was utterly convincing at times, some of the underwater sequences had bubbles that floated up and your first instinct was to swat them away with your hand lol.

It was awesome in 3D at the Imax theater! I hope they re-release this in the proper format once the 3D TV's come out! It was weird..because I was kind of in the middle of the theater but the 3D glasses brought that 50 foot screen right up into my eyeballs. It was like the film was running right in my glasses..not way up on the screen.

I didn't see the 3-D version. But my son and I did see it at the Imax at the Denver museum. We went through the Titanic Exhibition and followed it with seeing this at the Imax. It was amazing! Of course my then 11 year old picked the front row, center seats for us to watch the movie LOL But even three years after, he still talks about both the exhibit and the movie as being so COOL!

It was fun to be the 'Cool Mom' for a little bit ^_^
