PLEASE HELP ME!!!

i bought the dvd on ebay and found that the main menu only had the options to either play or go to chapter selections. i heard that there were supposed to be trailers and stuff. Is my copy pirated or something? at first i thought it couldn't be because it was still sealed and it even had the ID sticker on it.

Same here. No trailers on the menu, though there is a small insert inside the box which mentions trailers.

If you press down on your remote control, you will be able to see two squares for the trailers for this movie. Hopefully this should help.

That is a bootleg. The only legit version is well over $40 and is a Region 2 Japanese DVD.

I got mine on ebay too and it's probably a bootleg but the quality is so good I thought it was legit. Here are pics of mine:

And it does have the 2 trailers. They're on the bottom 2 squares:

The quality of yours is vastly superior to mine. This release is long out of print (being superceded by the awful 2nd edition) so it may well be a bootleg you have there. In comparison, the cover of yours is much better quality print to mine, the disk of mine has a different pic + is black and white and also a poor quality print. Also mine didn't have an insert.

Yep, it's a bootleg. The back of the cover says it's region 2 but it plays in my region 1 PS3.

I got it in one of these auctions:

Also, there seems to be another bootleg version made by Panmedia:

The version you have is an official release. It's from Zoke (a Chinese company) who more often than not just obtain the rights to versions of films and just basically use their content without changing it. They're essentially a distributor. It sounds fishy, but they're legit.

reply

The other Bruce Lee movies in that lot are Zoke. This one is an unlicensed bootleg, though of very high quality.
