Taye Diggs(Dre') and Sanaa Lathan(Sidney) finally hook up at the end. Sidney writes a book dedicated to Hip Hop(Dre'). She goes on air at a local hip hop radio station to discuss the book. She quotes a line "My book is dedicated to hip hop. I used to love him(a song by Hip Hop artist Common), I still do, and i always will. Dre(Diggs) calls the radio station and he shows up surprsingly and the too kiss right there in the studio while Chris or Cabby(Mos Def) finally gets his song aired on the radio. He then hooks it up with Francine(Queen Latifah) in a comical type way. The end.
