they were both dispicable and deserved each other.....

The two leads were so freaking annoying throughout the whole movie. If they loved each other so much, why didn't they hookup instead of ruining the lives of two innocent people? Reese SHOULD have cheated on his dumb ass. What married man calls up another woman at all hours of the night whispering on the phone and not think his wife was going to not suspect him of cheating? Their need to constantly hug up on each other knowing that Reese was there. Also the constant rolling of the eyes and smirks Sidney would make whenever he mentioned or kissed his wife.

The whole Reese getting caught cheating was handled pretty bad too. Of all people for Dre to bring along to catch his wife, he brings the very person that has caused all the drama in the marriage to begin with. Then they played the restaurant scene as a joke to humiliate Reese and her suitor.

Sydney's treament of Kelby was pretty bad too. Leading him on while still pining after Andre. Then dumping him when Dre caught Reese cheating. Oh and she slept with Dre BEFORE she broke up with Kelby.

For a romantic love story the film makers sure made the two romantic leads pretty unlikable...IMO.

You sound like a robot. It must be nice to be perfect and never make mistakes and never be confused by your emotions.

No, he was just being honest. And I happened to agree with him Syd should of been honest with Dre from the beging.

Has nothing to do with being perfect or never making mistakes. I agree with the OP.Dre might've been a little confused, but sid certainly was not. She knew she wanted Dre all along. He just hadn't made that move. Which of course is exactly how situations like that happen in real life. They pretend to be just friends, while one is usually just waiting for the others relationship to go belly up. The minute that happens the friend swoops in. Never mind that the relationship was in trouble in the first place because the gf/bf knew the best friend wanted their partner.

That doesn't make the main characters in this film too likable to some. Its like we're supposed to root for them simply because they're the main characters, and not because we believe they belong together.
