Did anyone else feel that the interviews were a little uncomfortable and guarded given that Sting had made the decision to go solo on this tour, but the press were not totally sure?
shareYes. Sting was already called Police his "backup band" by 1983. He disbanded Police just to create a band for himself, playing the kind of jazz music he was doing before joining Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers (i.e., Last Exit). I don't think they should have broke up, honestly.
