Geoff Beddoes

The acting on the show was always excellent, but I particularly loved the two-episode arc about the rock star Geoff Beddoes who has just gotten out of prison and whose Courtney Lovish girlfriend and other enablers will let him relapse into drugs if if Erika Alexander doesn't make a huge personal effort to help him. Gale Harold was hypnotic, and the whole thing really rang true. He clicked in different ways with every other character he interacted with -- particularly Alexander, whose tough shell he penetrated, and starstruck Scott Cohen. That song "Gone" -- damn, I wish somebody would record it.
