Do you think we'll be able to play as the secret new species in Starcraft 2? I would love to see their tech tree.

In the next Starcraft I speculate that... :
First there was a secret army created by the Overmind long ago. When he died destroyed in sacrifice by Tassadar of the Templar, the Warlords of the Zerg Hordes were scattered to fend to themselves.
Now, they besiege the Koprulu sector in hope of creating a new Overmind. However, the truth is that they answer a call sent by a strange life form summoning them into the Koprulu sector and then they will encounter the secret race built by Infested Duran as he said in Brood Wars "Ive set the Hybrids on many worlds"
The Protoss Templar and their terran allies (Raynor and his raiders) are making a stand on both Shakuras and Auir and they leave to establish themselves on a new world.
"Duran" is most likely a decendant of the ancient Xel'Naga. He says he is from a species reflected by what is in the stasis chamber, a Zerg and a Protoss hybrid.
The Two species Zerg and Protoss are halves of the true whole according to the Overmind. Each one is a part of the Xel'Naga passed on. Creating a species that combines the two would mean RECREATING the Xel Naga. Hence the completion of the cycle and culmination of history "Duran" talks of. The Xel'Naga came, were divided and now are made again.
If I recall right he also mentioned how Kerrigan's infestation into the Swarm was helping his cause - I wonder if that meant the Zerg race has somehow assimilated into itself the psychic powers of a ghost, and is thus making the hybrid even more stronger.
