The Killer's name?

I don't think the killer's name was ever revealed. But I am NOT going to go back and watch it again to try to find out. I was just checking the boards to see if everyone else thought it was as horrible as I did. The only reason I watched the entire thing was to see how much more absurd it got (and it did) and how many plot holes there would be - the biggest of which is that our heroine was the only one bright enough to realize that people all around our broadway actress (who did a much better acting job in her one scene in the opening than anyone else did in the film) were dropping like flies, and her death was the ONLY one NOT classified as a murder.

I hope someone can give you an answer - I rechecked the IMDb list of actors just out of curiosity and there are a lot of actors listed without character names or photos.

I haven't gotten that far in the movie, but in the book the killer is a hitman hired by the guy who worked for Mr Greco. He was into some illegal stuff and the daughter (Heather) found out. That is why she was killed.
