Am I the only one who finds this movie a bit strange?

The comedy part is funny, most of it anyway... But it gets wierder and wierder towards the end with a whole lot of killings and violence that doesn't really follow the feel of the beginning of the movie, and that sentimental crap when Romeo get's killed.... just plain silly...

But is it just me who feel this way?

Yeah, it's very uneven and unbalanced. Like, pick one way and go with it; either screwball or heroic bloodshed. The mix did not work for me at all. It felt like the film makers didn't know what was going on either.
I think they meant to do something in style with Analyze This, possibly? That was a successful mix of comedy and gangster flick, imho.
