She was never abducted by aliens. The diamond smugglers kidnapped her and tied her up in a small cave. Simon eventually saved her.
Last we ever see of her, at the end of Series 1, she's guarding Arnie on the bush track, waiting for the police/rescue team that was supposed to be coming. Whether or not she was rescued is never explained because she never appeared again. She probably was, though.
