One of the best romantic comedies of all time ...

I first saw this film on TV5 just by chance and I have to say it is one of the greatest romantic comedies I have ever seen. The fact that it is so down to earth and was made in 2002 (!) is incredible, because this is the type of film that belongs to the 80s or even previous decades. It is remarkably and refreshingly old fashioned, and does not weigh itself down in silly pretentiousness or stupidity.

I wish Hollywood could learn a lesson from this film. That it is not accessible at all in the English-speaking world is a tragedy (and thus no English subtitles). I had to order the DVD from France!

And the soundtrack is excellent! Does anyone know what the first song is during the opening credits, when Irene is driving to Paris?
