The BBC are showing this at 0025 so I guess I should not have expected too much but watching this is a frustrating experience.

I like films like this and am quite happy to watch one which is not American (I am British).

The RCMP has an interesting history but this films shows them to have made a mess of this particular investigation.

If like most people outside Canada (or even inside Canada?) you don't know the background to the film then it is confusing.
The different police forces or parts of the same force and there roles in the investigation are never explained.

It is hard to keep up with what is going on.

It is odd to see British actors trying to do Canadian accents

I agree in that it was a bit hard to follow what was going on in the investigation at times with all the different law units that seemed to be involved. I would also have liked to have seen more of the killer instead of only the police.

This was just on lmn. It seems more about the process and bungled up investigation then anything else. If that was the intent, fine. It was just hard to follow.
