To those who say it's a rip-off...
Just because YOU think that some parts of the Company (2002) seems to be copied from Scarface (1983), doesn't mean it's a rip-off! It's actually based on a real-life person, Dawood Ibrahim, and a chapter of his life. It's the same with Don (2005). People say that film is a copy, well, yes it IS a copy, but a copy of a Bollywood film, not a Hollywood film - Don is a remake of Don (1978)... some even say that's a remake of Scarface though Scarface was made five years later. I'll admit there are a few scenes that are slightly similar to some Hollywood scenes in terms of style, like The Matrix (1999), but why don't you go to the Charlie's Angels' and Equilibrium's boards and point out that these films have copied The Matrix too?? And why don't you go to the Scarface board and point out it's a copy of Don (I'm not saying that it is)??? You should realise that as time goes on and films are being made, it's getting more and more difficult for films (from whatever industry) to be original which gives the impression that they're copies of each other. All you want to do is point out that Indians are copy-cats without even doing your research! Oh, and even if some Bollywood films are copies of non-Bollywood film, you should realise that Hollywood films doesn't do well amongst the Indian masses, so an Indian version is made. There are non-Bollywood films that are copies also - would you generalise these industries (or nationalities) like you're doing to Bollywood? Some even say Bollywood films are copies when they haven't even seen the films that they copied - why would this detract your enjoyment of a film anyway?
