I agree. This is one of Verma's stylishly filmed gangster movies. A great plot with direction to match. Every character excellently developed. This movie should be brought to the attention of international film audiances.

I still can't believe Devdas won all the FIlmfare awards last year. Devdas was mediocre crap compared to this movie. Ram Gopal Varma should have at least won the Best Director award. The Oscar judges were probably laughing at the stupidity of the Indian film selection panel.
