Mohanlal

This is a great movie! All the key actors did a very good job; Mohanlal's performance stands out. The way he portrayed the police officer is commendable. The subtle movements, the way his eyes move and the expressions on his face are a refreshing change to the usual "because I said so" kinda police officers we usually see in Hindi movies.

I heard some people say Mohanlal had an accent?

[I haven't seen the film yet.]

Yes but he was playing Inspector Sreenivasan a south Indian IPS officer and he needed to have a thick south Indian accent!!!!!!!!!!!
I have seen other movies where he speaks Hindi and he doesn't have that much thick accent and he's quite fluent!!!!!!!!

I came to this board to discuss Mohanlal. The scene where he begins thrashing his 'informer' was improvised on the sets and not part of the script. He did a brilliant job alongside the other leads. The accent was supposed to be so. How do you expect a South Indian to speak? With an Irish accent? He was from the South...Don't tell me all the cops are of Marathi origin.

No offence to Ajay or Vivek, both were great, but it was Mohanlal who added the most to this movie's watchability factor.
