DVD

I have not been able to find this film on DVD. Does anybody know if it was ever actually released on DVD, though obviously not here in the US. I have not seen it on ebay or dvdasian, so I don't know if it is just a really hard to find item or if it just doesn't exist.

Good luck. I've been searching for years now. I had seen a potential French subb'd dvd that was a Birdcage Inn/Crocodile dvd pack. I was going to buy it and translate the DVD myself and re-author it as I can speak French. The problem is I never found it.

I just got word TARTAN VIDEO is picking up a few KiDuk films for release in the UK. Upon contacting them Crocodile was not part of their plans, but I'm trying to convince them otherwise. It wouldn't hurt if you did the same;

Thanks Splattii. Maybe as Kim becomes more popular this film will get a DVD release. We can always hope, right?

Another World Entertainment has listed Crocodile as one of their future releases. No release date yet. Another World Entertainment is a scandinavian company and I have a few of their releases and I'm afraid to say those don't have english subtitles. I just sent an e-mail to them to ask if that's the case with this dvd. When I get an answer I'll report back.

We will only though bring out the movie in Denmark with Danish subtitles.
Other companies will handle the distribution in the other Scandinavian areas.

The only DVD release with Engish subtitles currently available is the German one. Neither the Danish nor the Swedish release contains English subtitles (even though the Swedish release says so on the cover!).

There is now a release from England on DVD. However, the film is 4x3 Letterboxed and the quality of the print is only fair. Still, it's better then nothing.

Thanks for the update. A couple of years ago I got a Spanish DVD of it but it had no English subtitles. I speak Spanish so it was not really an issue. But nowadays at least it is so easy to find subtitles online, so at the very least if have a DVD without subtitles you can still watch it on your computer with downloaded subtitles.
And as far as quality goes I think the Spanish DVD was probably similar. Better than nothing like you said.
