Right here, possibly the first tv show i ever remember seeing as a kid. I was born in 1972 and I can still hear the theme song to this in my head.. something about come aboard on the great space coaster or something?

No, that was the theme song to the Great Space Coaster. New Zoo Revue went something like, "It's the New Zoo Revue, comin' at you..." God, I'm a nerd.

I had nightmares as a kid, and they'd always
wake me up right around 5 a.m. I'd lay in bed
with the covers over my head for an hour,
waiting for New Zoo Review to come on. It was such
a comforting part of my childhood.
NZR was one of my favorites shows too although I can barely remember it, thankfully a station in Chicago broadcasted re-runs in the 90's.
