Deep Sea Fish Identification

In the "Deep Sea" episode, there is footage of a fish with enormous eyes and a very small, narrow mouth. It is never identified in the narration. Does anybody know the species of fish (I know that the description sounds rather vague, but let's put it this way - the fish in question has the largest eyes in proportion to the rest of its head that I've ever seen - kind of like a fish version of the rotating ostracod).
