The American mentality on the female body

I spent a year in Afghanistan running the dining hall and had many local Afghan men working there. When this movie was on and there was the scene of the ladies stripping down at the garment factory, all the Afghan guys just sat down totally engrossed and with a big smile on their faces during the scene. Whereas many of the American guys looked disgusted and one guy who said he's "been traumatized for life".

In the old days, plumpness was a sign of health and wealth and men loved those type. Nowdays, ladies like Cameron Diaz, Paris Hilton, etc. are considered desirable and now even Britney Spears is considered fat because she doesn't have a little kid's body anymore.

The true image of woman in America is plump or thick. These skinny rail-girl supermodels do not represent America. That's the reality of it.

that's a pretty random movie to be playing in an afghan dining hall. but that was a very interesting story, thanks for sharing.

If this movie really did play in an Afghani dining hall, the local men probably thought the women were typical American whores for stripping down to their underwear at work. Their mentality on the female body is that it's a dangerous, tempting object to be shielded from all eyes but that of its rightful owner, the husband.

actually it wasnt health it was a sign of wealth, like being pale, it showed that you were rich and could afford to overeat ;)

and WTH are you talking about, britney NEVER had a kids body!! wow you sound pretty jealous..

Jayne Mansfield: A woman should be pink and cuddly for a man.

I might add: half the men in America have wives that are as large as those three that stripped down, or larger!

I would hate both those type of men.
