Thoughts on the ending - *Spoilers*

It is morning, she wakes and dresses. She calls his name, touches him, kisses his arm, but he doesn't wake. Next shot, she is outside, turning a desolate city corner. A single produce truck is unloading its shipment for a market. She is walking faster now, in the middle of the street; she begins to run. She smiles.

I know how I feel about the closing moments, and I can describe the physical events, but I can't seem to find the words to express my emotional perception. Can anyone?
