You don't know french humour, personally I think it's a great movie, if you want to see french humour that really sucks you should watch movies like tais-toi

Just finished watching Taxi 3, loved every minute of it's light hearted humour.
Even though the main story line is weak, the sub plots and the comedy is what makes the Taxi franchise so appealing.
These type of movies are rare to see, it's purely made for having a fun time, it's very comic, full of laughter.
