Does it annoy anyone else that...

... the characters linger in the house for as long as they do? They realize early on something is very, very wrong yet continue to investigate, despite the fact it would've taken all of five seconds to figure out whether the place had a phone. Then you have Carly, determined to find a toilet, when she's essentially been standing in one since they set foot inside the house.

Yeah that scene always bother me, its as if they didnt give a damn that people actually live inside this house. I would of been paranoid to just walk inside someone house like that and the moment they walked in they should have known something is weird about this house. It was pretty obvious a phone wasnt inside and I didnt understand why that girl was so determined to use the bathroom then the moment she gets inside the bathroom she was looking around being noisy for about 5 mins but just a few seconds earlier she acted as if she was gonna piss on herself.

Same. Stupid. You see the place looks weird and they keep on looking around, no phone. but , keeps looking around and than saying "I have to pee" and does not ever pee but mess around!

Carly was spoiled scum hence I couldn't wait to see this rich kid get mauled.
How can you fell in live with such a disgusting, selfish and stupid human being?!

Job prospective: studying art history, becoming a rich wife, shopping, having two or three kids, local charity and school board => consumption and making the life of others miserable.

But all of them them acted utterly stupid.

Oneof the later scene for instance: when the cop got killed by an arrow...instead of getting the gun, he came to that idea when it was just too late. And when he had the chance to get the wepons again (arriving at their hut), he didn't bother to get it but used the car to ram into the house.
Why not getting the gun before ramming the house and use it to deliver three head shots?

But before that scene: why didn't they attack these guy while they were sleeping. Did they really think they were better off by running away?!

Last but not least: you can't kill that many tourists and alikes without getting caught by now also two police officers (or deputy sheriffs or whatever).
According to that many cars it was almost a monthly routine...

Less victims in the past, no police present at all, and far smarter protagonist who rather fall due to the lack of the terrain, the lackof weapons, maybe bad luck, and smarter adversaries...maybe one family member whose intelligence is even above average, maybe even a female one.

But getting them killed by letting them behave far below the level of common sense...that is just annoying.
