Black and white in a colour age

ok, maybe its just me but i cannot stand movie makers that use black and white when they don't have to. it just seems so pretentious to me. it realy stoped me getting into the movie which i think had promise, maybe im just not arty farty enough.

thoughts...?

I don't have a problem with black and white. Infact I don't think it would have looked anywhere near as good in colour.

Black and white also didn't bother me here. Did any of you see it with English subtitles?
