What was the start set? Nottingham or Derbyshire?

I couldn't work out the accent. It sounded very much like a Yorkshire accent, but there were certain words that made me think Nottingham or Derby. Me sen instead of myself was said a lot by the main character, and thee!

There is a bit which was filmed in Castletown in Derbyshire. Of course, it doesn't mean that was where it was supposed to be on the filmIt was the country side shots after his motorway cafe stop. I think from the accent it was supposed to be Yorkshire. It seemed to me that was how they speak in Yorkshire. I live on the wrong side of the Pennines to know for sure, tho.K

Sheffield. I had to laugh because when he sets off on his bike he goes down a street in Sheff that I remember well when I used to ride my Suzuki T125 from home in Chesterfield up to Uni in Bradford.

Alot of the filming is done near to Ladybower - the pub used is The Strines at Bradfield (I think it gets a credit at the end of the film) Still not sure of the accent though - I seem to think it is more Worksop / Derby - Notts border.
